Privacy Policy
Comprehensive details on how we protect your data and ensure your privacy.
1. Commitment to Data Sovereignty
At MinuteGen, we believe that your professional discussions are your most sensitive intellectual property. Our platform is architected on the principle of **Client-Side Processing**. Unlike traditional SaaS platforms that require server-side storage to function, MinuteGen operates entirely within your browser environment.
**Zero Server Storage:** None of the text, names, dates, or financial data you enter into our tools ever leaves your device to be stored on our infrastructure. The "processing" happens in your RAM and is cleared when the tab is closed.
2. Information Collection & Use
2.1 Personal Data
We do not require user accounts, email registration, or social media logins. Consequently, we do not collect:
- Personally Identifiable Information (PII)
- IP addresses associated with specific user identities
- Geolocation data beyond general country-level analytics
2.2 Usage Analytics
To improve our tools, we may collect anonymous usage data (e.g., which tool is clicked most often, browser type). This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individuals or the content of their meetings.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
MinuteGen uses "Essential Cookies" and Web Local Storage to enhance your experience. These are used for:
- **Persistence of Settings:** Remembering your preference for currency in the Cost Calculator or your theme choice.
- **Auto-Save Functionality:** Temporarily holding your draft in the browser's local storage so you don't lose work if you accidentally refresh the page. This data remains on your machine.
4. Third-Party Services
We utilize a limited number of trusted third-party content delivery networks (CDNs) to serve essential library files (Tailwind, jQuery, Lucide Icons). These providers may log basic connection data (like IP addresses) as part of standard web traffic protocols, but they do not have access to your input data.
5. Data Retention
Since we do not store your meeting data, there is no retention period on our end. Once you export your document (PDF or Print) and close your browser session, the data is purged from the temporary local environment.
6. Compliance with Global Standards
Our "Zero-Knowledge" approach naturally aligns with the core requirements of GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and other international data protection frameworks, as we minimize data collection to the absolute technical minimum required for tool operation.
